Strong families start with solid foundations. That's why we partner with parents to help raise the next generation to become followers of Christ. Your children and teens have opportunities throughout the week to grow relationships with each other and with God.
Our community and world
We are passionate about serving the global community and demonstrating God's love to others. Whether in person or online, individually or in groups, within our church and around the world, we are focused on supporting and engaging in relationships that provide relief and restoration to a hurting world.
Our leadership
Our Directional Leadership Team works together to shape the vision and direction of Christian Life Center. They often meet to pray together and seeks God's direction for the congregation.
Bailey and Melanie Alders
Senior Pastor
As the Senior Pastor of Christian Life Center, Bailey provides teaching, leadership, and guidance for the church as a whole. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.S. in agricultural economics. Following a vision God gave him for a different kind of church, Bailey, his wife, Melanie, their two children, and a handful of people launched Christian Life Center in 1992. In 2014, he moved the church to a new campus where Christian Life Center has grown at a steady pace. He also leads Christian Life Center's Advisory Council.
Melanie works beside him and is passionate about the younger generation. She directs LifeKids and our on-site school, Christian Life Academy.
Nolan and Bethany Alders
Youth Pastor
Nolan and Bethany are passionate about exploring new ideas and finding practical ways to leverage them for the church. They loves young people and are dedicated to training the next generation for service in the Kingdom. Nolan graduated from Stephen F. Austin University in 2013 with a B.S. in physics. Nolan and Bethany now live in Nacogdoches, Texas with their two children. Nolan also serves on Christian Life Center's Advisory Council.
Vladimir and Kimberly Goodrum
Director, Outreach Ministries
Vlad and Kim have always dedicated themselves to serving the Kingdom. Vlad graduated from Sam Houston University. Then they both graduated from Texas Bible College in Lufkin, TX. After school, they moved to the nation of Paraguay to assist in a missions work there in South America. Then they moved with their two children to Nacogdoches where they are now an integral part of Christian Life Center.
Gary and Brenda Thacker
Director, Men's and Ladies Ministries
As our most recent addition to the leadership team, Gary and Brenda bring new insights and work hard to provide opportunities for families at Christian Life Center to grow and fellowship with each other. They have three children and they both worked as train engineers before retiring and joining the leadership team here at Christian Life Center in 2019.

Christian Life Center's Advisory Council serves to advise the leadership team and perform the business of the church.
